Sheltered on a slope, high above the village of Toffen on the small plateau, stands the former farmhouse at the end of Sygartweg. Surrounded by cultivated land, the house looks out over the few neighbours and into the distance from the Emmental valley to the Alps. The basic structure of the house is well preserved, the attic and roof, and the façade were completely renovated in 1994. The interior is in need of renovation, as is the technology. The large volume offers plenty of potential for expansion, and the house is connected to the public supply. At present, the old living space on two floors, connected via the external staircase, has been converted into a total of 6.5 rooms, which are not separately accessible.
